“Maya truly was such an insightful and helpful person to navigate me through the UC application and I couldn’t be more thankful to have worked with her. She not only guided me through narrowing down what I truly was passionate about and wanted to display in my essays, but finding dynamic and specific details that showed how these passions demonstrated my personality. For example, I had a lot of really in-depth theater experience and Maya helped to illuminate in my essays how these experiences in theater taught me a lot about leadership and who I am as a person. This was very helpful because at first I wasn’t so sure how to do this and she truly pushed me to think deeply about how all of my extracurriculars have made an impact on me as a person…something really important to show in a college application! Maya also helped me form my activities list.
